A family trade since 1905
Mark’s great-great-grandfather started a plumbing business in 1905, and each generation since has built its own. Mark’s dad started D. M. Collins Plumbing in 1983. In 2005, at 20 years old, Mark started running its operations, and quickly learned that knowing the trade and leading people are two different jobs.
The fears he faced in those years nearly cost him the business: confrontation, being wrong, disappointing people, missing out and failing. Learning to face each one became the Five Pillars of Leadership, and the foundation of everything he has built since.
Today Mark leads Elevate Franchise Brands, home to 1-800-Plumber +Air and PatchitUP drywall repair, and still owns and runs 1-800-Plumber +Air of Pearland and PatchitUP of Pearland.
